Honea Path news, South Carolina news.

A South Carolina man is hospitalized after he courageously defended a mauled woman from three dogs near his Honea Path home Monday.

Aaron Presley said that he used a small pistol to frighten the canines and make them leave the woman, later identified a Kyleen Waltman, who was already badly injured.

The man added that a black, large pitbull remained on top of the victim before “he came toward me and then ran toward the house.” Presley did not even know whether he hit him.

“Initially we thought just arms but as time goes on, the bites are everywhere.”

Justin L. Minor was arrested and charged with owning three dangerous dogs. They were reportedly two pitbulls and a mixed breed.
