Georgia man forces dying grandmother into freezer while still alive

Authorities in Georgia have arrested a 29-year-old Armuchee man after the body of his grandmother was found in a freezer he hid in a storage unit for months.

Robert Keith Tincher III reportedly failed to seek help for his dying elderly grandmother and instead wrapped her in plastic trash bags and dragged her to a nearby home where he placed her in a freezer.

  • Tincher forced the victim into the freezer breaking her bones and left her there while still alive. He then transported the freezer to a storage unit.

    “He described her movement and breathing when the freezer was locked,” investigators said.

    Tincher “expressed fears of discovery” as a motive for his actions; he was charged with malice murder and concealing the death of another.
