A tragic house fire claimed the lives of three children and an adult Friday night in addition to several pets while two other people were hospitalized with critical burns.
Authorities identified the victims as two boys, 10 and 14 years old, and a six-month-old girl. A 65-year-old woman also perished in the fire.
Springboro Fire Department Chief said that a 45-year-old woman was rushed to a burn unit in Pittsburg in critical condition while a 63-year-old man remains in stable condition at Meadville Medical Center.
The same official told local news outlets that although the cause behind the deadly fire was still being investigated, it appears that a first-floor laundry room was first to catch flames.
One of the residents of the two-apartment home said that there were ten people living in the house.
