Beverly Hills news, California news.

A luxurious jewelry store in Beverley Hills was robbed of millions of dollars in goods last Tuesday and the owner described the suspects seemed like kids.

At around 1:45 p.m., five suspects arrived at the Luxury Jewels of Beverly Hills in a stolen car and fired shots through tempered glass windows.

“I screamed to my employees for everyone to hit the floor. I hit the panic button and went under my table,” the owner recalled. “I waited for the gunshots to stop. I grabbed my gun and I ran out.

Police said that the suspects, who remain at large, smashed the storefront window and stole luxury watches and jewelry worth more than $3 million in broad daylight.

“It’s very concerning…in spite of all the efforts that we have put forward to combat and to prevent that, we still get these crimes, especially during the day,” Lt. Giovanni Trejo said.
