A headless woman’s body that also missed arms and legs was found in a shopping cart early Thursday morning, New York Police Department officials said.
The grisly discovery was made at around 1:45 a.m. by a passerby in Brooklyn. The body was in a garbage bag in the shopping cart, police said.

Identification of the body will be done through DNA as detectives lack dental and fingerprint records.
Sources said that surveillance footage of potential suspect(s) is being investigated. An autopsy is also expected to determine the cause and manner of death.
Also on Tuesday, Los Angeles Police made a similar discovery in Chinatown where a burning woman’s body was found in a shopping cart.
