Dean’s list student arrested after selling more than 70 guns, mostly loaded, to undercover NYPD cop

A straight-A Tennessee college student was busted on 304 counts for selling 73 guns to an undercover NYPD officer in the course of a year.

Prosecutors alleged that Shakor Rodriguez sold the agent semi-automatic and assault-style weapons between July 17, 2020, and Dec. 22, 2021.

    Rodriguez committed all that while making the dean’s list at his Austin Peay State University. Authorities said that the weapons were bought for between $1000 and $1,500 each.

    “I would not have expected that of him,” a Bronx resident who knew the suspect since he was a child said. “He wasn’t a thug, he was respectful.”
