New Orleans news, Louisiana news.

New Orleans Police officers made a horrific discovery Tuesday while searching the property of a missing woman’s boyfriend.

It was Julia Dardar’s estranged husband that reported her missing late last month, telling police that he did not see her since November, when she moved out of their home to live with Benjamin Beale, 34.

When Beale was first questioned about the 36-year-old’s disappearance, he claimed that Dardar was suicidal and may have died from an overdose.

“A deep linear cut was visible along the left shoulder/upper arm area, which appeared to have been inflicted post-mortem.”

At the scene, police also found a saw, goggles, garbage bags, and a face shield. Beale was arrested for running a meth lab at his home. Murder charges are pending.
