South Carolina authorities have arrested a 29-year-old woman and charged her with murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime after locating the body of her boyfriend Wednesday.

Taylor Wardlaw reported 26-year-old Terrell Sims missing on December 22 describing him as an “acquaintance” of hers. Sims’s sisters told detectives that Wardlaw was actually Sims’ girlfriend and they had a one-year-old child.

“I mean, I’m hurting but, at the end of the day, I feel at peace,” Sims’ twin sister said after his body was found.

“You know, you sit there and think about how many cases people be going missing, and they’ll never get their case solved, you know, and the fact that they were able to find justice for him is a blessing,” Sims’ older sister said.
