Washington Football Defensive Back survives fatal car crash that killed female passenger

Washington Football Team Defensive Back and special teamer Deshazor Everett is reportedly hospitalized after a fatal car crash late Thursday night.

A Las Vegas woman, who was the passenger in the player’s 2010 Nissan GT-R, died at StoneSprings Hospital. Everett was listed in serious but not critical condition.

The crash occurred at around 9:15 p.m. after the vehicle “left the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over.”

  • “We’ve been made aware of an automobile accident last night involving Deshazor Everett,” the Washington Team said in a statement. “A passenger in his vehicle lost their life and we extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends who lost a loved one.”

    “Deshazor is currently in the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries; our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.”

    The 29-year-old is playing his seventh NFL season with the Washington Football Team.
