Washington Football Team Defensive Back and special teamer Deshazor Everett is reportedly hospitalized after a fatal car crash late Thursday night.
A Las Vegas woman, who was the passenger in the player’s 2010 Nissan GT-R, died at StoneSprings Hospital. Everett was listed in serious but not critical condition.
The crash occurred at around 9:15 p.m. after the vehicle “left the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over.”
“We’ve been made aware of an automobile accident last night involving Deshazor Everett,” the Washington Team said in a statement. “A passenger in his vehicle lost their life and we extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends who lost a loved one.”
“Deshazor is currently in the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries; our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.”
The 29-year-old is playing his seventh NFL season with the Washington Football Team.
