A Fort Worth murderer who admitted to setting a dumpster with three people remains on fire last September has recently confessed to two other killings.
Police already suspected that 41-year-old Jason Thornburg was involved in the house fire death that claimed the life of his roommate in May and the disappearance of his girlfriend.
Thornburg admitted that he slit the man’s throat and lit a candle after starting a gas leak. In 2017, he said that he “sacrificed” Tanya Begay’s life during a trip to Arizona.
The same man stands accused of slaughtering David Lueras, 42, Lauren Phillips, 34, and Maricruz Mathis, 33, at a motel room within days. He then dismembered the three victims and discarded their remains in a dumpster that he set ablaze.
Thornburg claimed to have “in-depth knowledge” of the bible and was called to “commit sacrifices” when he perpetrated the murders.
