Fort Worth news, Texas news.

Authorities in Fort Worth, Texas have apprehended a suspect who allegedly killed three people and set a dumpster containing their remains on fire last week.

41-year-old Jason Alan Thornburg was arrested Monday night in connection with the horrifying discovery of three deceased and dismembered bodies found on fire inside a dumpster last Wednesday.

Initially claiming that the victims were an adult male, a teen woman, and a child, detectives later determined that all victims were adults, including two females.

The tattoos of the male victim helped investigators identify him as 42-year-old David Lueras. Authorities believe he had been living with the suspect in a motel room for a while before the murder.

“The case was shocking and unsettling, and we knew bringing someone to justice, in this case, was paramount,” police Chief Neil Noakes said.
