An Oklahoma infant was found in cardiac arrest Sunday after he was left with his 25-year-old father while his mom was hospitalized with Covid-19.
Colton Thompson admitted that he slapped his 2-mon-old son Logan multiple times when he wouldn’t stop crying.
The baby’s mom reportedly called Thompson regularly to ask about Logan because she knew the dad “didn’t do well with children” and got “very angry” when babysitting.
The woman added that Thompson was also a weed-smoker but that she had no other choice after contracting the illness.
Logan suffered two brain bleeds and a fractured skull. He had been intubated prior to his death.
Thompson was charged with willful or malicious child abuse and first-degree murder. The charges are punishable with life in prison.
