Human body parts left scattered all over Long Island Expressway after horrific hit-and-run crash

Human body parts were found Saturday afternoon scattered around the Long Island Expressway in Queens and police believe they may be those of a hit-and-run crash victim.

NYPD investigators were first alerted to the gruesome scene at around 3:30 p.m. Police rushed to the area near the Meadow Lake Bridge to find a man’s severed arms, legs, and torso in the eastbound lanes, near Exit 23 in Flushing.

  • Police sources said that “numerous” human remains were found on the roadway and that it appears the victim was so brutally struck on the highway that he was mutilated.

    The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is currently probing the man’s death to confirm their suspicions.

    Detectives did not completely rule out the hypothesis of a murder/dismemberment crime.
