Memphis comedian, who joked about Rapper Young Dolph’s murder, shot dead

A Memphis-based comedian who had posted jokes in the aftermath of Rapper Young Dolph’s murder was also killed in a Tuesday shooting.

21-year-old Derrion “Dmuney” Childs was identified on Friday as the victim of a fatal shooting that involved two other surviving victims.

The Memphis Police Department said that Childs was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the shooting at Vayu Drive, but did not survive his wounds.

The comedian had received heavy backlash after mocking the 36-year-old Rapper's death that occurred on November 17.

    “I LOVE MEMPHIS CUH WE SO GANGSTA.”

    Some users admonished Childs’ posts over Young Dolph’s death asking him to stop “dissing the dead.”

    “Respect the dead, lesson learned now. RIP Dolph,” one wrote.
