Rapper Young Dolph gunned down at Memphis cookie store

Tennessee authorities confirmed late Wednesday that a shooting outside a Memphis cookie store had left a male victim dead.

Several reports identified the victim as Rapper Young Dolph. He was gunned down through the front window of the Makeda’s Cookie store.

The store owner and employees later confirmed that the 36-year-old rapper had walked into the store before the fatal shooting.

  • In an interview with The Guardian, Young Dolph revealed being targeted since he was a teenager.

    “I’ve been targeted since I was 17, 18, 19,” he said adding that it may be the result of the methods he was forced to take in order to make money.

    “Hustling, you’ve been seeing it for so long that you start to partake in it. I clocked in when I was 12 and never clocked out.”
