Rapper Travis Scott defended his actions in emotional Instagram posts after receiving heavy criticism for carrying on his performance as people crushed to death during the Astroworld Festival.
“My fans really mean the world to me and I always wanna leave them with a positive experience and anytime I can make out anything that’s going on, I stop the show and help them get the held they need, you know?” the artist said.
It comes after attendees and social media users slammed him for keeping singing even with thousands of people “compressed” near the stage, screaming and getting hurt.
Travis insisted that “he could never imagine anything like this happening.”
“I’m gonna do everything I can to keep you guys updated and keep you guys updated and keep you guys informed on what’s going on.”
