Texas woman mauled to death by own dogs while trying to break off fight between them and neighbor’s pooches

A Texas woman found dead in her backyard last week was likely killed by her own dogs while trying to stop a fight between them and her neighbors’ pooches.

Tiffany L. Frangione, 48, was pronounced dead on Friday after officers were called to her Houston residence over reports of a deceased person. She had visible puncture wounds in the neck area.

  • “A preliminary investigation indicated that Frangione let her dogs out into the back yard and they fought with the neighbor’s dogs through the fence,” police said.

    “It is believed Frangione attempted to intervene and was possibly attacked by her own dogs.”

    Houston Police urged anyone with information regarding the deadly incident to call the department’s Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
