Connecticut authorities have arrested a mother on manslaughter charges after she suffocated her 6-week-old son to death on Nov. 17.

35-year-old Crystal Czyzewski admitted to suffocating her baby “until he was dead” because she “was stressed” over caring for two children alone and “hadn’t planned on having a child.”

The boy was left to die in a swing for hours before Czyzewski called 911 to report him “barely breathing.”

He was in cardiac arrest when he reached an area hospital and then flown to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center where he died two days later.
