Kyle Rittenhouse’s supporters took his defense on Twitter over LeBron James’ tweet criticizing his emotional sobbing on the witness stand Wednesday.
“What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into the court,” the NBA star tweeted.
The post triggered critics’ backlash at the player and started a raging wave of insults and mockery with many ruling LeBron the “king of faking injuries” not the 18-year-old defendant.
“You’re a coward. Oh, and would you be saying this if he weren’t white? Or if he held the same political views as you did?” one questioned.
Another cited an instance where the NBA star couldn’t correctly articulate while commenting on a book he was supposedly reading.
“Hey LeBron James since you’re calling someone else a faker, let’s all enjoy your book report on ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X.’ Enjoy if y’all haven’t seen this yet.”
