Biden celebrates passage of infrastructure bill describing legislature as ‘a once in a generation investment’

As he greeted reporters gathered at the White House State Dining Room Saturday, President Biden couldn’t be happier to be finally in the “infrastructure bill.”

“Yesterday, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say, we took a monumental step forward as a nation,” he said.

“We did something that’s long overdue, that long has been talked about in Washington but never actually been done.”

    The President added that he plans to hold a signing ceremony “soon” but is awaiting lawmakers’ convenience to attend the event.

    “Generations from now, people will look back and know this is when America won the economic competition for the 21st Century.”
