Houston news, Texas news.

A Texas mom had admitted to witnessing her boyfriend assaulting one of her four kids last year and hid the child’s death as the attacker flooded her with gifts and jewelry.

Brian Coulter, 31, did not show up for his court hearing but his girlfriend, Gloria Williams, told police that he was the killer of her 8-year-old boy.

The 35-year-old mom said that Coulter punched and kicked Kendrick Lee last November and that she tried to stop him. After the boy died, Williams kept mum on Lee’s murder because she was afraid she would be jailed.

Coulter covered the boy’s corpse with blankets and stuffed it inside a closet before they both deserted the apartment where they left three other boys with autism.

Meanwhile, the abandoned kids were left to “fend for themselves” until the older sibling decided to call 911 and report their miserable condition.

“Very sweet children, very nice, very well-spoken,” Harris County Sgt. Dennis Wolfford said of the kids. “At the same time, that thousand yards stare, that blankness in the eyes.”
