Albuquerque news, New Mexico news.

A pointless fight between two inmates ended in a tragedy at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Cellmates Telea Lui, 25, and Leon Casiquito, 41, clashed inside their cell late Monday following persistent harassment from Casiquito.

The older inmate had on Sunday hit Lui’s legs “in a nagging manner” and wanted to do it again after returning from his break on Monday when a furious Lui confronted him.
