Caravan of Central American migrants crawls toward US border: ‘We’ll go on to get as far as we can’

A human wave of Central American migrants is on its way to the US border pushing through security agents, according to the latest reports.

Only 1,000 miles away from American soil, over 2,000 migrants are positioned at a Tapachula baseball field as they organize their march aiming to reach the Texas border.

    “They told me I had to wait because the appointments are full,” a Honduras migrant who sought a visa to work as a construction worker in Mexico said.

    “There is no work there so out of necessity I joined this group. We’ll go on, day by day, to get as far as we can.”
