A Georgia suspect had turned himself into authorities in connection to an October 10 fatal incident that left a young restaurant employee dead.
Catherine Khan, 28, was caught on a witness’ video banging the windows of a Lamborghini claiming that a man inside, identified as Alfred Megbuluba, had stolen her family heirloom wallet.
“Call the cops, call the cops! I just got robbed…there’s cameras in there…my ID, my card, everything,” she told a 911 dispatcher shortly before the fatal ordeal.
Police said that Megbuluba would minutes later throw Khan out of his car and take off. She died from the injuries she sustained.
Megbuluba was charged Tuesday with felony murder, theft by taking, financial transaction card fraud, and theft. He was denied bond.
