North Carolina woman’s body found in woods; last seen pulling over at local bar

Human remains found in west Charlotte’s woods were positively identified as 30-year-old Miranda Springs, police said.

Springs’ distraught mom said her daughter vanished on Sept. 18, after parking outside a local bar. Her car was days later involved in a crash with, behind the wheel.

  • “My heart cries out for you every hour, every minute, every second,” the mom said. “I feel like I’m going to die.”

    Springs’ body was found early Tuesday morning in a wooded area. Police have arrested a suspect, identified as Saafiq Jahquiel Hall, in connection with her death.

    “I can’t believe someone would do this to another person,” a friend of Springs said. “My heart and prayers go out to your family beautiful girl.”
