The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the death of 25-year-old Chris Pearson, an “Ex on the Beach” participants, during a “tragic encounter” Sunday.
Pearson reportedly got into “a verbal argument” with the unidentified suspect before things went bloody.
“During the argument, the suspect produced a weapon and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported by LAFD to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The suspect fled to an unknown location.”
In addition to his appearance in the MTV show’s first season, Pearson worked as a DJ better known as Creatures Ferris and released several songs including “Lost in the Night ft. Jake Vincent” and “No Questions.”
“Chris was the one person that loved with his whole heart,” a GoFundMe Page set up for funeral expenses reads. “He had so much love and energy to give to every single person he crossed paths with.”
“He wouldn’t leave the room until he made sure every single person was happy. Chris was taken from us way too soon. Nobody was ready for this. There was so much more he had set to accomplish.”
