Wanted murder suspect took own life inside car at Durham school parking lot

A wanted Virginia homicide suspect was found dead inside a vehicle at the parking lot of a Durham, North Carolina parking lot Friday.

Newport News Police confirmed Saturday that Karlos Evan Andrews, 37, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Eastway Elementary School.

    Andrews was also facing charges of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon, and shooting a firearm in a public place, according to reports.

    During the time he had been on the lookout for first-degree murder, Andrews was considered armed and dangerous.
