Weeks ahead of Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene hailed him as “the boy who stepped forward” during BLM rioting at a time when “Democrats seeded chaos” and shared a link to raise money for him.
Rittenhouse, now 18, stands accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. He reportedly traveled while armed with a rifle from his Antioch, Illinois residence to perpetrate the crimes.
“Democrats seeded chaos and stoked violence in cities all over the country for a year,” Greene posted on Twitter. “Billions in damage devastating communities, lawlessness & the media cheered it on.”
“A boy stepped forward when most grown men stayed home. Remember Kyle Rittenhouse.”
Greene then shared a link to send donations to Rittenhouse. The page described him as a “victim of Big Tech, a corrupt media, and dishonest politicians and prosecutors.”
