Chippewa Co news, Wisconsin news.

Chippewa County detectives announced late last month that the human remains found in a suitcase at an abandoned Reedsburg farm belonged to a missing Wisconsin woman.

Three months after she was reported missing by her ex-husband on July 21, 2020, Rosaly Cindy Chavarria Rodriguez’s remains were discovered stuffed in a suitcase more than 150 miles from her last known whereabouts.

“We’re working very closely with Reedsburg and the Wisconsin Crime Lab to put a closure to this,” he added.
