Student, 18, at large after opening fire at Arlington High School, injuring 4

Texas authorities are actively looking for an 18-year-old student accused of perpetrating a shooting at Timberview High School leaving four injured Wednesday.

Timothy George Simpkins was named the gunman who opened fire at the Arlington school at around 9:15 a.m. after an argument with a person in the class.

  • “Please call 911 if you know the whereabouts of 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins who may be driving a 2018 Silver Dodge Charger with license plate PFY-6260,” Arlington Police said.

    Several law enforcement agencies including the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Dallas Police detectives responded to the scene.

    Simpkins is considered “armed and dangerous”. Arlington Police added that two of the injured sustained gunshot wounds.
