A Pennsylvania electrician on an assignment to work in Polk County, Florida had reportedly gone on a bloody rampage with a knife and a baseball bat that claimed three lives early Saturday.
39-year-old Shaun Runyon went into a murder spree at the housing complex where he and his co-workers from Pennsylvania have been staying while working for Publix Supermarkets in Polk County, Florida.
Runyon first punched his supervisor at around 2 a.m. Friday and disappeared after the incident until he swarmed the rented housing at 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
Armed with a knife and a baseball bat, he beat three of his colleagues, some of which were still sleeping, to death. A fourth victim survived the bloodbath.
“We had no idea what outraged him so bad that more than 24 hours later that he would come back and make an attempt to kill every one of them,” Sheriff Grady Judd said.
