Authorities in Galloway Township, New Jersey are investigating a botched burglary attempt that took the life of a man Tuesday.
The decedent perished after getting caught in the Two Brothers From Italy pizza restaurant’s exhaust fan while trying to sneak into the business.

“Investigation revealed that the unidentified white male attempted to gain entry into the restaurant via a rooftop exhaust fan,” The Galloway Township Police Department said on Facebook.
“During the burglary attempt, the male became trapped within the exhaust fan and was unable to free himself.”
“Identification of the deceased male is pending investigation by both the Galloway Twp. Police Department as well as the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.”
