Michigan news, US news.

A fully-vaccinated Michigan couple passed away Sunday from Covid, holding hands, only one minute apart after doctors decided to take them off ventilators.

Cal Dunham and wife Linda were on a trip earlier this month when they started feeling ill, their daughter Sarah said.

“My dad called me before our family camping trip and said he wasn’t feeling good, but he thinks it’s just like sinus, and [Linda] caught it and she’s like, he gave me his cold.”

“The third day they woke me up and said,’ we’ve got to go because we don’t feel well.’ So I packed them all up and they left.”

“They had other plans. It was Sunday and dad’s like, ‘you know what/ This is what we’re going to do today.’”

He died at 11:07 p.m. Linda passed away at 11:08 p.m. beside him.

“She always joked and said ‘well, you’re going to go before I am, I’ll be right there behind you, I promise.”

“And she really was, like she really was right there behind him.”
