Shortly after FBI officials announced the heartbreaking news of Gabby Petito’s likely death, social media users shared a chilling picture of a rainbow that was spotted near the site where her remains were found.
The rainbow appeared in the forest of Bridger-Teton National Forest where investigators located human remains “matching the description” of missing Gabby.
‘The Heaven’s shining down on Gabby,” one commented. “This gives me chills,” another added.
An acquaintance of the victim who’d known her for 20 years described her as “love, light, and rainbows.”
Other users suggested that the rainbow sighting at the site was a “sign” that Gaby’s soul was “leaving Earth.”
Yesterday, Charles Jones, a Senior FBI agent brought the grim news and said: “The search revealed human remains consistent with the description of Gabrielle ‘Gabby’ Petito.”
“The FBI and our partners extend our heartfelt condolences to Gabby’s family and loved ones. This is an incredibly difficult time for them, and our thoughts are with them as they mourn the loss of their daughter.”
