An Alabama employee had died at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant following a tragic incident on Friday.
The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Michael Miller. He was killed in “a material handling accident” at the Pennsylvania plant.

“We are deeply saddened that a contract worker was fatally injured around 11 a.m. on Friday while unloading equipment from a truck at Three Mile Island,” an Exelon Generation statement reads.
“We send out condolences to the individual’s family, friends, and colleagues.”
Reports added that Miller was unloading his truck outside of the radiologically controlled area of the Three Mile Island plant that had been closed since 2019.
