California authorities said that a laces cocaine overdose at a Los Angeles party had claimed the lives of three people including Comedian Fuquan Johnson.
The 42-year-old comic’s friend Model Kate Quigley was listed in critical condition early Saturday morning after attending the same party and consuming the fentanyl-laced drugs.
Police did not identify the two other victims but said that when officers responded to the scene, all victims were unresponsive.
“Very sad to hear about the passing of my buddy Fuquan Johnson,” Writer and Producer Luke Barnett said on Twitter.
“Smiliest, happiest dude, and a local icon in the North Hollywood community. RIP.”
Actor Page Kenndy posted an emotional tribute to the late comic on Instagram describing how his death was “quick as a fall, without notice or time to say goodbye.”
“Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for always being there when I call you and need you. Rest well my bro and leave those angels alone up there bro, or at least save some for me.”
