A Florida couple stands accused of murder and child neglect after they left their one-year-old daughter to die on the doorstep of her aunt.

Prosecutors said that Charquez Giles, 26; and Latonia Clemons, 36; left their toddler in her car seat on the doorstep of her aunt on July 10 after knocking once at the door.

Later on, the paternal aunt received a call informing her that the child may be needing medical help. She then rushed her to St. Mary’s Medical Center where she died.
