Alabama toddler, 3, found dead in hot car after being accidentally left there

Cullman County authorities said that a 3-year-old boy was found dead inside a hot car parked outside his family home on Sunday.

Johnathan Milam, “LJ”, was found unresponsive in the car outside a Holly Pond residence where his parents and older sister live.

  • “There was an incident involving a small child on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021,” Sheriff Matt Gentry said. “It appears to be a tragic accident but it’s still under investigation.”

    The boy was described as “a sweet little boy” according to a GoFundMe page launched for his grieving family.

    “We are asking for donations for the family at this time to help with food, gas, and any financial burdens to come their way. We appreciate any and all prayers at this time and the days coming.”
