Pensacola news, Florida news.

A pregnant Alabama woman who’d been reluctant to get the Covid vaccine had passed away last week along with her unborn baby girl.

Haley Mulkey Richardson, 32, was a nurse at a Pensacola hospital before she contracted the deadly virus earlier this month. She had refused to get vaccinated.

“Haley had anaphylaxis reactions in the past. So for that reason, she felt that it was not safe for her,” her mom said.

Mulkey’s unborn baby died two days before her. They left behind a loving family of her husband and three-year-old daughter.

“I hope and pray for miracles but having said that I am also praying for God’s will to be done,” the late nurse posted on August 9.
