A distraught mom of a murder victim has shared heartbreaking pictures of her late son’s loyal dog lying on his grave right after he was buried Sunday.

22-year-old James William “Will” Warner was a beloved Shelby County resident and a “typical country boy who loved life and people,” until his lifeless body was found Friday.

His mom told reporters that Warner was murdered then brought to the area where he’s been found. His body was quickly decomposing forcing the family to hassle the burial.

Police said that Warner’s girlfriend was also shot on that same day but is expected to survive her injuries. Suspect Samuel Earl Rich, 25, turned himself in later Sunday in connection with the two crimes.
