Banining news, California news.

In an interview from the Riverside County Jail where he is being held, the suspect who allegedly opened fire at two teens at a Corona movie theater last week blamed his mental illness.

Joseph Jimenez, 20, claimed that eight months ago, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia but had recently stopped his medication.

“I ran out and didn’t get it refilled,” he said adding that internal voices haunted him before he brought a gun and fatally shot Rylee Goodrich, 18, and Anthony Barajas, 19.
