The deceased children found in the trunk of their aunt’s car were extremely malnourished and one of them was there for “many months.”
Baltimore County Police arrested Nicole Johnson, 33, after smelling foul odor and noticing maggots coming out of her car trunk during a traffic stop.
Johnson was the maternal aunt of the deceased siblings identified as Joshlyn Johnson, 7, and Larry O’Neil, 5. They were reportedly weighing 18 and 21 pounds respectively.
Charging documents revealed it “would have taken several months of malnourishment to attain these weights.”
The aunt said that her niece died months ago at a motel where she hit her. She hid her body in the trunk.
The boy was tired on the day he died and went sleeping in the car. She alleged she removed his body to the trunk after his passing.
