Mom found in bloodbath after 3 children found wandering alone, told cops ‘Mommy was dead’

San Antonio authorities were led to a bloody scene early Tuesday morning after reports of three small children wandering alone overnight.

The kids, aged 4, 5, and 8, were walking around a gas station at around 3:30 a.m. and told cops their “mommy was dead and there’s blood everywhere” leading them to the Antioch Village Apartments home.

The woman was lying in a pool of her own blood in the bathtub of the home after sustaining stab wounds to the torso and legs.

First responders provided lifesaving measures and rushed her to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said that the victim was not cooperating with the investigation. It remains unclear whether the wounds were self-inflicted or the result of an act of violence.
