On-duty Washington deputy fatally shot; 2 suspects arrested, third at large

Clark County Sheriff’s officials have identified the fallen deputy who was gunned down Friday on the line of duty as a 15-year veteran of the force.

Detective Jeremy Brown, 46, was fatally shot at an east Vancouver apartment complex and died at around 11:30 at a local hospital.

Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the shooting following an extensive manhunt.

    A third suspect, Guillermo O. Raya, is still at large and considered “armed and dangerous.”

    “This is a difficult time for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement agencies in Clark County, and the surrounding area,” the sheriff’s office said.
