A Lebanon, Tennessee father has been charged with the murder of his 4-month-old daughter after he fell on her while drugged last April.
The tragic incident took place at the Travel Inn. Motel on Murfreesboro Road on April 3.
Police officers rushed to the motel over reports of a man in a drug overdose and a female infant that appeared unresponsive.
38-year-old Jesse Wayne Craddock was taking care of his 4-month-old daughter while her mom was at work when he overdosed on fentanyl.
At some point, Craddock fell on top of the infant and remained there until she died. Her manner of death was ruled as asphyxiation.
Craddock is facing first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse/neglect, and drug charges.
