Miami rescuer finds body of own daughter underneath condo rubble; mom, grandparents, and aunt remain missing

A Miami rescuer had pulled the body of his own daughter out from the collapsed condo rubble on Thursday as four other relatives remain missing.

Stella Cattarossi, 7, was recovered and escorted through a group of firefighters. Her dad wrapped her lifeless body in his jacket and put an American flag on her gurney as she was taken away.

“Our hearts and prayers are with the families affected by this horrific tragedy,” Miami Fire Rescue Chief Joseph Zahralban said.

    Stella had been living with his mom’s family since birth. Her mother Graciela Cattarossi, grandparents, and aunt remain unaccounted for.
