Allentown authorities confidentially investigate suspicious dog deaths across city

Allentown, Pennsylvania authorities said that they have launched an investigation into a suspicious wave of dogs’ fatalities across the city.

However, Police officials revealed little about the ongoing probe citing the active status of the investigation.

Police Capt. Michael Becker Jr. said that unexplained canine deaths were reported in the 2000 block of East Cedar Street and the neighboring areas.

    Local officials did not specify the number of the deceased dogs or their cause of death.

    But they’ve urged residents to anonymously post their tips online to help into the probe on the department’s tip411.com account.
