Son of former NFL defensive lineman stole dad’s SuperBowl rings and other jewelry worth $300k

Authorities in Galveston County, Texas have arrested the son of a prominent NFL star after he allegedly stole $300,000 worth in dad’s jewelry.

D’Audre Holmes-Wilfork, 23, was charged with stealing former NFL defensive lineman Vince Wilfork’s two NE Patriots Super Bowl Championship rings.

In addition to the valuable rings, the player’s son robbed a pair of diamond American Conference Championship rings, a ring of National Championship he won with Miami Hurricanes, and several earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

    AN investigation led Police to the man who claimed he had bought the rings from Holmes-Wilfork months ago.

    Vince Wilfork, 39, was chosen in the first round of the 2004 draft. He played with the Patriots for ten years and was considered one of their iconic linemen.

    He then joined the Houston Texans for the final season of his career.
