Spring news, Texas news.

US Marshals Service agents have successfully tracked down and arrested a former NFL player sought in connection with the suspicious disappearance of his 29-year-old girlfriend.

Kevin Ware Jr. was apprehended at a Spring, Texas strip mall at around 1:30 p.m. Friday. He had also been wanted for violating his bond.

“Apparently a lot of people were very scared of this guy,” Dep. Marshal Alfredo Perez said.

“I don’t know if they were scared of him because they heard the girlfriend was missing.”
