Denver news, Colorado news.

A renowned body language expert said that it appears Barry Morphew ‘faked distress’ when asking Suzanne Morphew to return in a video he posted days after she went missing last year.

Expert Patti Wood also observed a “fearful” Barry standing in court earlier this week following his arrest on first-degree murder charges.

“Handcuffs and shackles encumber him, so it isn’t easy to get a clear read on him, but overall I would say he is still feeling strong,” she said.

“He is standing up fairly straight and even, with the handcuffs, his carriage is held upwards.”

“He did have one captured glance of stark fear and I wish I knew what was going on in that moment.”

Days after Suzanne went missing leaving her bike behind, Barry, on verge of tears, posted an emotional video online.

“Oh Suzanne, if anyone is out there and can hear this, that has you, please, we’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back,” he said offering $100,000 in reward for information.

“No questions asked, however much they want. I will do whatever it takes to get you back. Honey, I want you back so bad.”
